01Your path
How dentures are made
-
Week 0
Exam and plan
Including any teeth that need to come out first.
-
Weeks 1–2
Impressions and bite
Records of your gums and how your jaws meet.
-
Week 3
Try-in
You see and feel the dentures in wax — shape and colour can still change.
-
Week 4–6
Fitting
Your finished dentures, with care instructions.
-
First weeks
Adjustments
Sore spots are eased as your mouth gets used to them.
02Your options
Full denture, implant-retained or fixed?
Implants can make a denture far more stable. We explain whether they suit you.
| Full denture | Implant-retained denture | Fixed full-arch bridge | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Held by | Suction on the gums | Snaps onto 2–4 implants | Fixed to 4–6 implants |
| Taken out | Yes, to clean and at night | Yes, to clean | Only by your dentist |
| Stability when eating | Good with practice | Much firmer | Like natural teeth |
| Time | 3–6 weeks | 3–6 months | 3–6 months |
| Typical cost per arch | $1,500–$4,000 | $6,000–$15,000 | $20,000 and up |
Typical US ranges before insurance; your estimate comes after the exam.
03Cost and insurance
What it costs
$1,500–$4,000 per full denture
Typical range in the US without insurance (2026 consumer cost guides). Your own estimate comes after the exam, in writing, before anything is done.
Partial dentures usually cost less; implant-supported dentures cost more because of the implants.
- Dental insurance
- Many PPO plans cover part of this treatment. We check your benefits and give you a written estimate before anything is done.
- Monthly payments
- Third-party financing such as CareCredit lets you spread the cost, if you’d like.
- No insurance?
- Ask about our membership plan: checkups, cleanings and X-rays for a yearly fee, plus a discount on treatment.
04Who plans it
New dentures take a few weeks to feel like yours. We’ll see you as often as it takes in that time.

05How we work
Our clinical standards
The details that make a difference to how this treatment is done — and why we do them.
-
Several fittings, not one
Dentures are tried in your mouth before they are finished, so shape, bite and colour can still be changed.
-
Adjustments included
Sore spots are common in the first weeks; follow-up adjustments during that time are part of the treatment.
-
Implant-retained options explained
Two or more implants can hold a lower denture firmly in place. We explain whether it suits you and what it costs.
-
A yearly check
Gums and bone change over time. We check the fit each year and reline the denture when needed.
06Is it for you
Which option fits
- Partial denture — replaces several missing teeth and clips to your own teeth.
- Full denture — replaces all the teeth in one jaw.
- Implant-supported denture — snaps onto two to four implants, so it stays in place when you eat and talk.
07Technology
The technology we use
All our technology-
01
3D intraoral scanner
Digital impressions instead of trays of putty: a small wand records your teeth in a few minutes, and you see the 3D model on the screen.
How it works -
02
3D cone-beam imaging (CBCT)
One quick scan shows bone, roots and nerves in 3D — for planning implants, wisdom-tooth removal and complex root canals precisely.
