Exams are for adults and families who want to keep their teeth and gums healthy — whether you come in regularly or it has been a while since your last visit.
If you’re new to our practice, choose New patient exam when you send a request.

05Cost and insurance
What it costs
$70–$200 exam with X-rays
Typical range in the US without insurance (2026 consumer cost guides). Your own estimate comes after the exam, in writing, before anything is done.
The cost depends on the X-rays you need — a full set at a first visit, fewer at later checkups — and on whether a cleaning is done the same day.
Dental insurance
Most dental plans cover routine exams, cleanings and X-rays at or near 100% — we check yours before your visit.
Monthly payments
Third-party financing such as CareCredit lets you spread the cost, if you’d like.
No insurance?
Ask about our membership plan: checkups, cleanings and X-rays for a yearly fee, plus a discount on treatment.
